Final Day

Today I woke up early

To move my legs and lungs

On a sunny sunday morning

My town looked like it never did before

The road was waiting silent

Fragrance in the air

You could tell the blue sky

Never met the grey

Running in the park lane

She struck me with her voice

People all around her

She cried of pain and war

I came close to hear her

Declaiming to the crowd

Many found her funny

Others passed around…

I could hear her say

“HEY!  Welcome to the final day

HEY! It is gonna come your way

Doesn’t matter if you cry,  it won’t matter if you pray!

This is gonna come your way

HEY! nowhere you can run to hide”

Then she pointed me and smiled

Only then her eyes became my eyes to see

A million people falling on their knees

Fire coming burning down the trees

Dark above and everywhere around

On the coming of the final day

I feel shivers of fear running down my spine to the bottom

I’m just losing my reason I’m going down down down

I’m  losing my mind

I’m  losing my mind

Lord  I wish I was dreaming I’m going down down down

This is gonna come our way

It is all beside my eyes

And it makes me mad to stop this agony

To see the nations falling on their knees

While the millions are begging for relief

Darkness spreading everywhere around

On the coming of the final day
